Garmin International is pleased to announce the new GPSMAP 541 and GPSMAP 541s. These new chartplotters feature a large ultrabright
5 QVGA display along with an improved high-speed digital design for faster map drawing and panning speeds. Plus, these
waterproof units have a high-sensitivity internal GPS receiver, so mariners will always know their position at sea. They are ready to go
with built-in BlueChartg2 marine cartography of the coastal United States - including Alaska, Hawaii and Explorer Chartdata of the
Bahamas. Mariners can navigate the waters with ease knowing that these new units include Garmins proven easy-to-use interface
design. The 541s includes a built-in sounder that can scan as deep as 1,500 feet / 500 meters (with dual frequency transducer) to clearly
paint depth contours, fish targets, structure, etc. Both models are compatible with various NMEA 2000 components, including Garmins full
lineup of NMEA 2000 marine sensors and autopilots. Adding the optional GXM51 receiver gives users XM Satellite Radio and XM WX
Satellite Weather capability for weather forecasting and storm tracking on the chartplotter.
When you add optional BlueChartg2 Visioncartography, the features only get better. BlueChart g2 Vision allows you to see realistic 3-
D views of your surroundings with Mariners Eye View and Fish Eye View. The Auto Guidance feature in BlueChart g2 Vision shows you
the best course to your destination and is even compatible with a Garmin GHPseries autopilot.
